Hey <insert bosses name here>
I wanted to write to you to tell you a little bit more about a cool initiative that will be great for our company culture and not only support our team but the entire blue collar community.
I know we have not yet rolled out TradeMutt shirts with the team and embraced Funky Shirt Friday yet so I thought I would give you a couple reasons why we as a company should embrace it.
- Firstly TradeMutt workshirt’s are a catalyst to starting real conversations and bringing down barriers that have existed surrounding mental health on the job and at home.
- Secondly it creates genuine connection. It may just seem like a funky workshirt but in reality it is a product that empowers people to be more vulnerable and open with those around them.
- Finally we don’t have to be concerned about not knowing much about mental health, under the left chest pocket of every workshirt is a QR code that once scanned will help connect anyone keen to a professional mental health counsellor for free and ongoing support through TIACS.
Pretty cool really.
In short the team and I are super keen to embrace Funky Shirt Fridays and help make the invisible impossible to ignore.
