It’s not every day that a driver walks away from a truck roll over. Thankfully however, for this legendary Mutter, the only thing that didn’t survive the accident was his TradeMutt shirt which was cut off by the rescue workers. Realising it was a TradeMutt shirt and knowing how important and powerful these shirts are, the paramedic apologised before cutting it off.

I just want to say first that my husband loves wearing your shirts he has nearly every limited edition shirt that has been out. I order them through my work place The Worker's Wardrobe Maryborough QLD.
My Husband is an interstate truck driver with the local family company.
My Husband has been driving for 30 years and yesterday was the first time he has ever had an accident. The truck rolled over across the road. He was leaving for his trip to Melbourne him and his little buddy our miniature dachshund Zuma.
He had only been 10 minutes from home when it happened.
Tom left early Sunday morning at about 5:30 am. I bought him the new Wattle it Bee shirt that was his favourite and loved it. So he wore it for the first time.
When the rescue firefighters ambulance and police arrived they were not able to get close to my husband or the truck cause our brave little man was protecting his dad.
When they were able to get close enough to my husband to get him out of truck and check him over. The ambo's noticed he was wearing a trademutt shirt. My husband said it was brand new. The Ambo's apologised and said sorry mate but we are going to have to cut it off you. And boy did they do that. My husband said the wife's not going to be happy!
Anyway I have to say that the company that my husband
works for they wear your shirts for Funky Fridays and they have arranged for Tom to have some counseling so that my husband can get some helpful advice and tools on how to deal with all that he has been through. His employer has been so supportive and helpful and I am so very thankful because of guys like you who have helped make mental health more aware.

In times of need, Mutters unite. And seeing this story in the mutt hutt was no different. There was an outpouring of love and support from the entire TradeMutt community which makes us incredibly proud of the legends who support this movement. However, it was the Mutters offering to part ways with the shirts off their very own backs to give to this legendary truck driver which moved us.
Safe to say that the TradeMutt team have reached out to this legend to ensure he has as many TradeMutt shirts as he could hope for.
