MTI US and Thailand 2022( when strangers become friends !)

I was invited to travel to the US and Thailand for an operational excellence conference and manager training, at this time I had just completed my first aid training in mental health and am passionate about changing the way industry looks at mental health issues, so I decided what better place to " start a conversation" than when been around 2500 of your peers ! ( thank you Shannnen for all your help)
I got to visit a number of our plants in South Dakota, Dallas , LA and then followed up by a trip to Thailand.
talking about positive mental health and holding Funky Fridays at each site.
By the time I got to the AME conference in Dallas, word had spread about the Big Irishman in the funky shirts, my company had 85 people there , I had only ever met three via team meeting , on day one I found myself in an Irish bar with 4 GM , 2 CEO and 4 company employees chating about Trade Mutt , the shirts , there meaning and what you guys do.
the for day conference is a mix of workshops and guest speakers from all over the world all talking about OE , but it became clear that business everywhere can not be good at OE when they dont have or cant hold on to employees , creating a great working environment and a company that supports its employees including there positive mental health all when hand in hand.
So instead of sitting there and learning from others , I found myself center of attention due to your shirts , its one thing talking about what you can do , its different when…
