Blue Dog Training

A bit of cheeky banter can go a long way. It lightens the mood, breaks the ice and helps turn tough days into shared moments, whether you are at home or onsite. Sometimes a laugh or a throwaway joke is all it takes to open the door to a bigger conversation.

That’s actually how our two founders originally bonded in the first place, when they met as a couple of young tradies. It was a shared love of 90s Jim Carrey movies, cheeky banter, and the fact that they had both started that same day, which built a friendship that would go on to create TradeMutt.

Dan was 2 years qualified on the job, and settling into the Queensland heat… and Ed?

Well, Ed had just started his apprenticeship with… Blue Dog Training!

They must have had a good influence, seeing as where the boys are these days, and it’s great to know that the next generation of tradies they are training will have access to TIACS’ services given their trainers are kitted out in a particularly funky shirt!

Isaac Regional Council - “We all Zaac for Isaac”

Ok, so three shires walk into a basin….

Wait, we’ll start over…

What do you get when you combine Belyando, Broadsound, and Nebo?

A bloody passport shredder of a place, called the Isaac Region.

From St Lawrence to Laglan, from Clermont to Clairview, from West Hill Island to the western side of Elgin, this place is filled to the brim with pure, unadulterated Australia.

This design was created to celebrate this region in its entirety, and the everyday people who live there. You might be a proper fella from Coppabella, or a Twin Sister from Winchester. You might be a big smiler from Carmila, or a solemn boy from Collaroy. Maybe you’re an Ill Bilbie from Ilbilbie, who was hurtin’ in Burton, but now all better in Quetta.

(We couldn’t think of a joke about Kilcummin)

Whoever you are, we all Zaac for Isaac.

CRT Trucker Cap - “Mountains & Molehills”

CRT is Australia’s largest group of independent rural retail businesses, with stores in so many places across Australia, we couldn’t list them without sounding like that one Lucky Starr song.

They’ve been everywhere, man, and they’re still there, in some of the more remote regional places across the country.

When you live and work in remote areas, you'll encounter unique problems, big and small, so you need to be able to tell a mountain from a molehill, otherwise you'll be running all over the shop…

We were pumped to make these bespoke trucker caps delivered in mid-2025, as part of CRT’s wellbeing initiatives, these little beauties are good for the old noggin in more ways than one, so a big thanks to CRT for looking after Aussies, both near and far.
