Because we wanted to do something different, literally wear our values on our sleeve (always look out for others) and support a cause that we all feel passionate about.

Conversations! Lots of them.

What other proactive steps is your business taking towards starting conversations about mental health?

We have all undertaken Mates in Construction training to help arm our team with some knowledge in recognising and helping those who may be struggling. We do team wide training and development on various topics that we believe all link in with mental health - identifying personality differences, effective communication etc. We are also very open and honest about our own experiences and encourage our staff to take time off if they need it (sick leave is not just for colds, flus, and covid!)
