Hillwood Berries
We already participate in Funky Friday shirts from Trade Mutts core range, and we wanted to broaden this concept to a bespoke shirt that represents Hillwood Berries. Many of our workers are from the Pacific Islands and spend numerous months at a time away from home and homesickness is often prevalent. Providing an opportunity for them to express their personalities and have fun has been a part of our wider Hillwood initiative.
Bekaert
How did Bridon Bekaert celebrate its 100th year of steel rope manufacturing while making a positive difference to the mental health of its team?
A custom hi vis TradeMutt work shirt, of course, featuring a unique design inspired by Bekaert’s 8x36 Compak steel rope cross-section while incorporating their BeCare heart and corporate colours.
The design, based on what Bekaert’s steel ropes look like on the inside, serves as a visual reminder that, for mental health, being strong on the inside means speaking up and getting the support you need. At Bekaert, mental health is a priority and they aspire to break down barriers through open conversation.
We’re stoked to have partnered with Bridon Bekaert on their ‘Steel Kaleidoscope’-patterned custom hi vis workwear to take important steps towards mental health awareness.
Quilpie Shire Council
TradeMutt is proud to introduce "Colour me Quilpie" - A tribute
Ah, Quilpie - About as Queensland as it gets....
...and about as hot as it gets too, which is why we produced this Custom order in a Lightweight 110gsm cotton twill, offering maximum breathability & comfort.
This design captures the region itself, an homage to sunsets, windmills, native Flora and Fauna, all inspired by the colours of the local boulder opal deposits.

Our BCF custom range of work shirts is made of recycled water bottles, not cotton.

Farm Angels
We love working with other Socially driven companies, and Farm Angels are a great example.
In 2024, we were proud to produce a limited run of this custom Flanno, complete with Farm Angel's colours, and bespoke embroidery on the rear shoulders, chest and collar.
These were made as a part of the 2024 "Flanno for a Farmer" campaign, and worn by aussie legends such as Travis Fimmel and Sam Thaiday, where Farm Angels aim to raise $500,000 annually to directly support hard hit Aussie Farmers.

Carpenteria Shire Council
Carpenteria Shire Council commissioned TradeMutt to produce a suite of workwear for their staff across the Council's services and functions, from a full print long sleeve work shirt to an orange day hi vis work shirt to an Undercover Mutter-style garment with the print across the back panel plus two polos made of recycled PET — one short sleeve and one long sleeve hi vis polo.

CARPENTARIA SHIRE COUNCIL
G'day legend,
We wanted to share a story we recently received from the amazing Carpentaria Shire Council team after introducing a custom design workwear run across their workforce.
Needless to say, we get chills reading this:
“Since the changeover and introduction of the new uniforms at Carpentaria Shire Council and the constant message about mental health, this has allowed me to be more open and unembarrassed about my dealings with depression, and more recently, anxiety.
Depression is a dark place which seems like there is no escape; you start to distance yourself from family and friends, withdrawn from activities, lose all your interest and start to contemplate your own existence.
Because of my own dealings and understandings, I was able to notice a change in a previous employee. I kept letting him know if they needed to talk, I’m here. After a few times he eventually sat down with me and spoke about what was happening.
I asked him to see a doctor and he was diagnosed with severe depression.
During the recovery he would sometimes contact me around midnight asking if he could sleep over which he did. Before he left to take up another job, he gave me a bag and said thank you and, “Can you get rid of this for me, I won’t be needing it.”
The bag had items he was considering using to take his life.
Sharing this message lets people know they’re not alone, but I’ve also realised it’s hard for people who haven’t experienced a mental illness to understand.

FAQ
Most Custom orders require at least 300 units per style ordered.
For Garments, this 300 units includes both men’s and women’s sizes, but is limited to a single garment style/layout.
Lead times vary, and your ETA will be confirmed after production has started, but we suggest a minimum of 6 months from Design to delivery.
Standard shipping to a single preferred Australian delivery address is free with Custom orders, however charges may apply for multiple address deliveries or other special arrangements.
